Coyote
Howls East Campground is a unique place that
defies description. It's "back to nature" camping could be called
"roughing it with amenities". It is 207.5 acres with 600 campsites.
The sites are large, random
in shape and placement. Some current residents maintain they have
"estates", not sites. There
are no hookups, so your trailer or RV needs to be self-contained.
However, there are 5 restrooms (2 with showers ), 5 dump stations, and
water faucets scattered throughout the park. Propane is sold across the
highway. All you need are solar panels or a generator to enjoy the beauty
of the desert.
Coyote Howls West Campground,
the former Las Plamas RV Park, has Full Hook Ups. It has 38
sites with electric, sewer, and water hookups. Surrounded by various
desert plants, Coyote Howls West has roomy pull through and non-pull
through sites.

The campgrounds are
120 miles west of Tucson, 60 miles south of Gila Bend, and 90 miles north
of Rocky Point, Son. Mexico in Why, AZ, population 480.
They are close to the
Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and
close enough for a day trip to Puerto Penasco
(Rocky Point), Mexico.

Amenities near Coyote Howls
include gas stations, convenience
stores, two restaurants and even a small casino.
